5 International Christmas Recipes

This holiday season, why not expand your culinary horizons and try some traditional Christmas foods from around the world? Instead of sticking to the same old recipes, you can taste a bit of the world today by enjoying these five international dishes.

1) Beverage

First on the list is Ponche NavideƱo, a warm and delicious Christmas fruit punch with spices. It’s a classic holiday party recipe from Mexico that you won’t regret trying.

2) Appetizer

Next up is Koledna Pitka, a sweet and buttery Christmas bread from Bulgaria. You can even tuck a silver coin inside one, and whoever finds it can expect good luck in the coming year. However, please note that the recipe contains eggs, which some Orthodox Christians do not eat during Advent.

3) Soup
