Do our lives matter? What is the point of so much of life when it is fleeting, temporary, and finite? Where can we find meaning, significance, and purpose?
In the follow-up to Hope Rising: Finding Hope in a Turbulent World, author Ben Foley takes an honest look at the despair and cynicism that characterize and plague our generation. From depression to the reality of injustice to the emptiness of pleasure, wealth, fame, education, and achievement, Everything is Meaningless wrestles with life’s philosophical and practical concerns.
This book draws from the inspiration and insight of an oft neglected and misunderstood book of the Bible: Ecclesiastes. Our despair and sense of meaninglessness can give way to the beauty, hope, and purpose found when we learn to live in light of eternity and our relationship with our Creator.

This book ” Everything is Meaningless” is a tool I would recommend for everyone to have in their toolbox. We are living in times of uncertainty and it’s so easy to find ourselves looking for answers and solutions, and in doing so we may end up frustrated, stressed, depressed and confused. But All goes back to God who knows and understands the seasons. There’s so much emptiness in this world but only God can satisfy and complete us because everything else beyond that is meaningless.
Thanks to Pr. Ben for taking the time and writing this spirit filled and life changing book. I am also honored to be featured in the book.
Blessings.

“Everything is Meaningless” is so incredible, and I 100% recommend that you read it. There has been so much going on in the world and my personal life in the past year. With the pandemic (and all the emotional stress that brings), physical pain issues, depression and overall stress I have been exhausted and tired of the common, easy answers to life’s issues. I truly have (and sometimes still do) wonder what the point is of all this pain and hurt.
I needed this book that validated my pain and didn’t just give an easy answer and a quick fix, but instead helped me wrestle through the hurt and long for Jesus and His hope even more. I received so much support from the pages of this book. When I was out of hope and honestly annoyed at the word “hope”, this book showed me God has a plan for me and that I still have a purpose even in all the sadness and pain of life.
