Launching New Women’s Vocational Training
As a faith-based community development non-profit, ServeNow is equipping vulnerable women with vocational training that brings dignity, protection, and sustainable livelihoods. The new Tailoring School Center in southern Asia represents more than a training program. It embodies God’s heart for restoring hope and creating lasting life transformation.
The inauguration brought together local community leaders who acknowledged the critical role skills training plays in addressing poverty and reducing the risk of exploitation and human trafficking. According to the International Labour Organization, over 50 million people worldwide are trapped in forced labor, with women and girls disproportionately affected—underscoring the urgent need for programs that provide safe, marketable skills.
By teaching marketable sewing skills, this women’s empowerment initiative provides a safe, sustainable way for women to earn income, support their families, and build confidence. ServeNow demonstrates Christ’s love through practical care and opportunity, serving the most vulnerable with compassion in action.

Meet Neetu, Impacted by Vocational Training
Neetu Kumari Chaudhary, 19, newly married, is one of the million ServeNow seeks to serve like Jesus by March 2025. Before joining the program, Neetu had few ways to earn an income. She depended on others to meet her needs and struggled to see how she could meaningfully contribute to her family’s well-being.
Through the Tailoring School, Neetu learned practical sewing skills—one stitch at a time. What began as vocational training quickly became a life-changing opportunity.
After completing the program, Neetu started sewing clothes for neighbors in her village. As her skills improved, community trust grew. More villagers brought their clothes to her, giving Neetu a steady source of income from her own home. Today, she plays an active role in supporting her family—an impact that will extend beyond her life and influence future generations.
“Before learning sewing, I depended on others for my needs,” Neetu shares. “After completing this training, I started sewing clothes for my neighbors. Slowly, people began to trust my work and brought me more clothes. Now I can earn money with my own hands. This skill has increased my confidence and respect in the village. I feel proud that I can support my family.”
Faith in Action
Neetu’s story shows what happens when compassion meets action. The tailoring program goes beyond skill-building. Without a doubt, it restores confidence, awakens hope, and allows women to experience God’s love through practical care. By providing vocational training for vulnerable women, ServeNow helps create sustainable livelihoods that strengthen families and communities.
